If it were it a movie, the sequel to the iPad just might be titled “iPad 2: 2 Fast, 2 Light.”
In the coming months, if not weeks, Apple is expected to unveil the upgraded iPad, and consumers should expect, at the very least, a faster and lighter machine. This approach mimics what Apple has done with other product upgrades such as iPhones and iPods.
The company has sped up and slimmed down the devices as they matured in the product cycle.
Another motivation for Tim Cook, COO, and his Apple corps is to get the new version out before a flood of Android-enabled tablets hits the market in the next few weeks.
